Man dies of dengue at DMCH
A man died of mosquito-borne disease dengue at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Delwar, 42, son of late Abdul Bepari, hailed from Zajira upazila in Shariatpur.
He lived with his family in Kamrangirchar area of the city.
Deceased’s son-in-law said Delwar suffered from fever for last 5-6 days. He was admitted to the DMCH on Sunday and diagnosed with dengue.
He died around 1:00pm while undergoing treatment at ward no: 601 at medicine department of the hospital.
Confirming the matter, DMCH police outpost inspector Bachchu Miah said the relatives took the body of Delowar from the hospital.
