Yaba tablets in dead body's stomach
Eleven small packets of contraband Yaba tablets were found in the stomach of a man's dead body during it's postmortem at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Saturday.
Motijheel Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Omar Faruk said locals found Julhas, 34, resident of Kendua upazila in Netrakona, in an unconscious state in front of Biswas Tower at Kamalapur of capital Dhaka around 5:00am on Friday.
Police rescued him and sent to Mugda General Hospital where he died around 11:00pm on the same day.
Later, his body was sent to the DMCH for autopsy where the forensic department doctors found the Yaba pills in stomach of the body.
Julhas was an accused in two drug cases filed in Netrakona district, said OC Omar Faruk, reports UNB.
