3 kids injured in N’ganj bomb blast
Three kids sustained burn injuries in a bomb explosion at West Rasulpur of Fatullah on Wednesday (Jan 2) morning.
The victims are Asif, 5 and his brother Arif, 3, sons of Titu Mia and Ankhi, 12, daughter of Abul Hossain.
Abdul Mannan, owner the house, said the three children of his two tenants picked up four round-shaped substances from the pile of garbage beside the house. One of those blasted with big sound at the house compound, leaving the trio burnt badly.
Hearing their screaming, locals rushed to the spot and took them to local hospital. Later, Ankhi was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, police said.
Golam Mostafa, Inspector (Operations & Community Policing) of Fatullah Model Police Station, said one of four bombs blasted. Three were recovered from the spot. Investigation is going on.
