Man killed as train hits auto-rickshaw at Tejgaon
A man was killed after a moving train rammed a battery-run auto-rickshaw in Nakhalpara rail crossing area in city’s Tejgaon on Wednesday afternoon (August 29).
The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.
Eyewitnesses said the incident took place as the man was sitting on the auto-rickshaw. He was critically injured in the crash and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where on-duty physician declared him dead.
Dhaka railway police station (Kamalapur) sub-inspector (SI) Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to media.
