Schoolgirl raped in Dhaka
A sixth-grader girl was reportedly raped in Dhaka’s Turag area Monday (July 30).
She was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), around 11 at the night.
The girl, student of a local high school, lives with her family in Turag area, said Turag Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC, Operation) Md Dulal Hossain.
Two local young men—Faisal and Apu, aged around 20-22, took the girl to Apu’s residence in Dali Para area while she was on way to her school, in the morning, added the OC.
The victim’s mother lodged a case over the incident.
