Youth killed for protesting sister's harassment
A young man, who received stab injuries by his sister's stalker in the city on Saturday, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Sheikh Pavel Islam, 22, a resident in Mazar Gate area of Jurain under Shyampur police.
Local sources said a stalker named Tuhin used to harass Pavel's younger sister.
As Tuhin harassed the girl on Saturday, Pavel slapped him in the evening in Jurain area.
Later, Tuhin aloingwith his 5/6 associates stabbed Pavel in Banshpotty area at about 10pm, leaving him critically injured.
Pavel was rushed to the DMCH where he died at about 10am today.
