Newborn rescued from DMCH washroom
Members of ansar rescued a newborn from a washroom of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Sunday morning.
Moslem Uddin, DMCH ansar platoon commander (PC), said the visitors of patients undergoing treatment at the medicine ward of the hospital found the newborn girl and informed this to the DMCH authorities.
Being informed, the authorities along with ansar men rescued the newborn from the washroom around 6am.
DMCH police outpost in-charge SI Bachhu Miah confirmed the matter.
The baby girl was, later, admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of newborn ward.
