3 burnt in Gazipur blast
Three members of a family suffered burn injures after a blast at a house in Kathra Mandalbari area under Metro Sadar Police Station in Gazipur City Corporation on Saturday morning (August 17).
The burn victims were named as -Nur Mohammad, 80, Yakub Ali Mandol, 60, and Aklima Khatun, 50.
Following the blast, locals rescued victims and took them to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in the capital. Cause of the blast has not known yet, but police are investigating into it.
Three of them-- Nur Mohammad has 25 percent burn injury, Yakub Ali Mandol 100 percent and Aklima Khatun 95 percent- are undergoing treatment at the hospital, DMCH police outpost in-charge Bacchu Miah said.
