2 truckers, 2 bikers killed in road crashes
Two truck drivers and two motorcyclists were killed in separate road accidents in Gazipur and Thakurgaon on Saturday and Friday night respectively.  

In Gazipur, two truck drivers were killed as a truck rammed a stationary one in Boardghor area of Kaliakoir upazila early Saturday, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Mizan, 28, son of Dulal Miah, hailing from Rangpur district and Delwar Hossain, 23, son of Kebor Uddin, hailing from Tangail district.

Police said that the accident took place when the Tangail-bound cement-laden truck hit the sand-laden stationary truck, leaving driver Mizan dead on the spot and Delwar critically injured.

The injured was taken to Mirzapur Kumudini Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

In Thakurgaon, two motorcyclists were killed as a tractor hit their vehicle in front of Gazirhat Degree College of Ranisankail Upazila on Friday night, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Abdus Sabur, 24, son of Abdur Rashid, a resident of Amjuan village and Jahangir Alam, 25, son of Faizul Islam, of the upazila.

Abdul Mannan, officer-in-charge of Ranisankail Police Station, said that the accident took place when the tractor rammed the motorcycle, leaving two riders- Sabur and Jahangir- critically injured.

The injured were admitted to Ranisankail Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared them dead.
