DMCH's burn product to be used for corona patients: Principal
Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) has made a decision to use its burn and plastic surgery product for isolating Covid-19 suspects along with lab for coronavirus check.

“People coming to the hospital with coronavirus symptoms might end up being isolated and tested in the unit,” Prof Khan Abul Kalam Azad, principal of the DMC, told UNB on Friday evening.

The decision was taken to ensure the safety of other patients at a healthcare facility, he said, adding that those who find themselves currently undergoing treatment at the burn unit are being shifted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn off and Plastic Surgery. “It’ll take around two days.”
