Rifat murder: Court asks to send six in Correction Centre
A court in Barguna on Tuesday ordered to send six teenager, accused in sensational Rifat Sharif murder case, to Khulna Juvenile Correction Centre.

Barguna Senior Judicial Magistrate Sirajul Islam passed this order after police produced 14 people before it this morning.

The court passed this order though the age of the six among 14 below 18. They six are Rishan Farazi, Tanvir, Chandan, Oli, Nazmul and Srabon. And the rest were sent to jail.

The next hearing will be held on September 18, said lawyer Mahbubul Bari Aslam.

Earlier on September 1, police pressed charges against 24 people, including Ayesha Siddika Minni, in the case.

Main accused Nayan Bond was exempted from the charges as he was killed in a gunfight. 

On Monday (September 2), the Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division passed “no order” on a government petition seeking stay on the High Court (HC) verdict that granted bail to Minni, wife of slain Rifat Sharif.
