Rifat murder: Accused Rifat Farazi arrested
Police arrested another accused in a case filed for killing Rifat Sharif, who was hacked to death in broad daylight in front of his wife in Barguna district on June 26.
Arrested Rifat Farazi is the second accused in the case.
Superintendent of Barguna police Md Maruf Hossain confirmed the news around 9am on Wednesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, prime accused Nayan was killed in a gunfight with police.
Rifat Sharif, 22, was hacked to death in broad daylight on June 26 by some miscreants in front of his wife in the district town of Barguna.
The accused include Nayan, Rifat Farazi, Rishan Farazi and Rabbi Akon.
The entire incident was captured in a surveillance camera. It was seen in the footage that the miscreants were hacking Rifat indiscriminately while his wife Ayesha Siddiqua Minni was trying to resist the attackers.
