3 sued over SAU student's death
A case has been filed against three persons over the death of Sylhet Agriculture University (SAU) student Ghori M Wasim Abbas.

SAU proctor Prof Mrityunjay Kundu filed the case with Moulvibazar Sadar Police station on Monday afternoon.

Those who were accused in the case are: bus driver Jewel Ahmed,26, his assistant Masuk Ali,40, and superviser Sebul Mia.   

Earlier on Saturday afternoon, Wasim Abbas, 21, a Masters final-year student of Sylhet Agriculture University, alongwith a friend boarded a bus of 'Udar Paribahan' after joining a wedding programme at Wasims’s village in Nabiganj.

The duo locked into an altercation with Masuk over bus fare. Then Masuk pushed Wasim and his friend when the duo were getting down from it and Wasim fell under the bus as the helper forcefully shut the door.
