Accused stabs another suspect to death in courtroom
An accused stabbed another accused to death in front of the judge while recording deposition in a murder case at a Cumilla court on Monday (July 15) morning.
The deceased was identified as Faruk. The killer is Hasan.
Court sources and witnesses said the court was recording the depositions of witnesses over a killing incident held in Manohorganj upazila of Cumilla. During giving deposition, Hasan stabbed Faruk randomly with a sharp knife, leaving him dead on the spot.
Later, police arrested Hasan from the spot.
Cumilla third additional district and session judge court public prosecutor (PP) Nurul Islam confirmed the matter to media.
