RAB seize huge corona test kits in city; 3 held
A mobile court of rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive seized large amount corona test kits from Shaheedbagh in the administrative centre on Tuesday.
The drive, led by RAB's executive magistrate Polash Kumar Basu, commenced at 12:30pm.
Functioning on a tip-off, RAB conducted the raid in Rajarbagh area and detained three people with huge quantum of test kits.
Functioning on information , glean from their website, another raid will be conducted in another godown.
Polash Basu told media that the one and only the federal government can import coronavirus test kits.
"We've information about hoarding of huge quantum of kits. There is no way to import, stock, buying and selling of corona kits without approval from Directorate General of Drug Administration," he said.
