Seven 'muggers' held in city
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained seven alleged muggers at Jatrabari area in the capital on Saturday morning.
The arrested were Hridoy Hossain, 26, Sharif Hossain, 33, Swapan, 20, Siddique, 25, Ali, 20, Mona Mridha, 27, and Arif Hawlader, 32.
They were detained from South Jatrabari area each morning.
Four knives, a machete, two blades, Tk 7,020 in cash and seven cell phones were seized from their possessions.
CPSC (Crime Prevention Specialized Company) RAB-10 company commander deputy director Ali Reza Rabbi and squad commander ASP Md Asaduzzaman confirmed about the arrest.
