Bashundhara Group provides masks, food to RAB
Bashundhara Group, leading business conglomerate of the country, on Monday (April 06) provided safety equipment and food to Rapid Action Battalion or (RAB) as part of their contributions to the government’s ongoing battle on coronavirus situation.

Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir and Vice Chairman Safwan Sobhan Tasvir jointly paid 50,000 masks and 1,400 packets of food to RAB director general Benazir Ahmed in the capital around 12:30pm.

Earlier on Sunday, the Bashundhara Group provided Bangladesh Navy with 50,000 masks, 500 PPE (Personal protective equipment) and 700 packets foods to tackle the coronavirus situation

On Saturday, the Group provided Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) with 25,000 masks for traffic police.

On Wednesday, Bashundhara Group gave 1,000 PPE and 50,000 masks to Directorate General of Medical Service (DGMS).

Within corporate social responsibility, Bashundhara Group is going to establish a 5,000-bed hospital for treatment of corona patients.

The group in addition has donated Tk 100 million (10 crore) to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

Necessary work to establish a healthcare facility is underway as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina accepted the proposal of Bashundhara Group.
