Bashundhara Group stands by talented Litunjira in Jashore
Country’s largest business conglomerate Bashundhara Group has extended its cooperation in fulfilling dream of a girl who obtained GPA-5 in Primary School Certificate (PSC) examination by writing with her mouth in Manirampur of Jashore.
Bashundhara Group Vice-Chairmen Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir expressed his willingness to help Litunjira, who is not blessed with hands and legs, after coming to know her extraordinary efforts through media.
On behalf of the Vice-Chairmen Shafiat Sobhan, Bashundhara Group’s DGM (Head of Bulk Sales) Md. Redwanur Rahman handed over a cheque of Taka five lakh to Litunzira’s father on Saturday noon (January 18).
Besides, various gifts were given to Litunjira’s family members on behalf of Bashundhara Group.
Senior officials of Bashundhara Multi Food Products and Bashundhara Food and Beverage were present while handing over the cheque.
Thanks to indomitable talent and confidence, Litunjira earned her success by writing with her mouth. She hopes to become a doctor in future. But Litunjira has to overcome some obstacles to reach the goal. Thinking about those obstacles, Litunjira and her family members often lose their spirit. But Bashundhara Group, as always, stands by Litunjira to make her dream come true.
After receiving the cheque of Taka five lakh, Litunjira became emotional and said: “I have been writing on Bashundhara notepad since my childhood. In fact, I became familiar with Bashundhara Group’s name from there. Sirs (senior officials) of that Bashundhara Group came to my house from Dhaka and handed me five lakh Taka’s cheque, school bag and a lot of gift items. I, therefore, thank Bashundhara Group. I’m so glad and happy. This day will remain as a memorable one in my life.”
