Youth hacked dead before father; Suspect held
Rapid Action Battalion members have detained a person for killing a youth in front of his father in city's Shanir Akhra area.
A team of the RAB held Md Raju Bepari, 18, from Tongibari area of Munshiganj on Sunday evening.
On February 25, Raju alongwith Noyan, Anik and Jihad took position before Khokon Miah's house. They waylaid victim Imon and his father if they were returning home and hacked Imon.
Hearing cry for help of the victim's father, local people rushed in but the attackers were able to flee.
Imon was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead.
