Planning Minister urges all to stay united for development
Planning Minister MA Mannan in Friday urged people right from all wake of lifestyle to remain united to continue the country’s expansion in virtually any situation as through the Liberation War.
“Bangladesh possesses developed in lots of fields. The ordinary life span of the nation is nearly world class. We've connected districts setting up bridge over the big river [Padma]. We will be in very well position now because of our people in comparison to other countries. Most of us must come to be united in any problem,” the minister was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the SAFA International Meeting in the city.
The Institute of Expense Administration and Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) organised the function titled- “Digitalization of Accounting & Auditing Practices: Issues and Opportunities to Protect Public Interest.”
The minister said the country’s persons are the best way to obtain power. They keep running the wheel of the country’s economy through hard working in firms and industries.
“Our achievement has got started led by the Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina in the last one decade. We need to continue to keep continuation the production,” he also said.
MA Mannan said the cost management is important one in professional sector. “However, we must remove poverty, illiteracy and superstition. Most of us need cooperation with regard to the country’s overall economy,” he also added.
A good KM Delwer Hussain FCMA, President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) presided over the function while Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh and Dr. Md Jafar Uddin, Secretary of Commerce Ministry, Dr Md Hamid Ullah Bhuiyan, Chairman of Financial Reporting Council (FRC), Bangladesh, among others were as well present there.
However, SAFA was produced in 1984 to serve the accountancy profession in the South Asian Region and uphold its eminence in the world of accountancy.
SAFA as a great IFAC network Spouse represents above 3,75,000 accountants having membership of the national chartered accountancy and price and management accountancy organizations in the South Parts of asia namely Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, Afganistan.
