PM orders another stimulus deal arrange for 2nd wave of COVID-19
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday asked the Finance Ministry and different related ministries and divisions to formulate another economic stimulus package program keeping second wave of COVID-19 found in the consideration.
The Primary Minister gave the order at a gathering held at her official residence Ganobhaban to finalise the 8th Fifth Year Approach (2021-2025), reports UNB.
Deputy Press Secretary To the Primary Minister Hasan Jahid Tusher briefed the reporters following the meeting.
General Economics Division member (senior sectary) of Arranging Commission Dr Shamsul Alam presented the ultimate 8th Fifth Year Plan (2021-2025) with the slogan 'Towards the prosperity with every'.
The Primary Minister witnessed the plans of varied ministries and divisions in the 8th Fifth Year Approach (2021-2025) and gave necessary directives.
She asked the look commission to create separate highlights in strategy and action plan of 8th Fifth Year System (2021-2025).
The 8th Fifth Year Plan (2021-2025) will be approved within the next ECNEC meeting.
The Prime Minister in the meeting said that she planned a roadmap for the advancement of the united states while she was in the sub-jail during the 1/11 caretaker government.
She asked the concerned to work for expanding markets of Bangladeshi products in regional and international arena hand and hand of creating more robust domestic market.
Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam, Principal Secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, Bangladesh Lender Governor Fazle Kabir, Senior secretary to the Planning Commission M Asadul Islam and senior secretary to the Financing Ministry Abdur Rouf were within the meeting.
