PM asks BCL men to prepare with education, peace, progressiveness
Noting that no country can progress without education, Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday asked the leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra Group (BCL) to try nation building organizing themselves with the organisation’s main principles.
“BCL’s main guidelines are education, peace and progressiveness. Each BCL innovator and activist has to proceed bearing the ideology . . . We will approach towards progressiveness following the route of peace and draw the united states ahead and it ought to be our goal,” she said.
The premier was addressing a debate at Krishibid Institution auditorium marking the 73rd founding anniversary of BCL as the principle guest from her official residence Ganabhaban, BSS reports.
Mentioning that she's taught her kids that education and know-how are such a wealth which always helps everyone move ahead effortlessly, Sheikh Hasina urged BCL leaders and activists to prepare themselves with this lesson.
“…..You (BCL leaders and activists) can attain huge wealth but never contribute to people and the nation if you prepare yourself without ideology. Nobody could be a high-up without including the ideology,” she noted.
The premier continued saying the Covid-19 has shown the reality that wealth and properties have grown to be failed when it had been most required. “Hence, you (BCL) should set focus on education.”
On the occasion of the BCL’s founding anniversary, the Primary Minister cut a cake at Ganabhaban while present and former leaders of BCL likewise cut cake at Krishibid Institution auditorium. A short video on the development, journey and actions of BCL was screened at the debate meeting.
Awami Group (AL) Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak and AL Central Executive Committee Member Dr Mostofa Jalal Mohiuddin as well spoke on the event.
BCL President Al-Nahian Khan Joy chaired the discussion while Standard Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya conducted it.
