17 'muggers' held in Narayanganj
Police carried out a drive and detained 17 suspected muggers and a drug dealer in Narayanganj sadar model thana area.
The drive was conducted Monday (May 27) night.
Alam Prakash, 28, Ripon, 40, Jewel Prakash Shamim, 26, Dayal, 25, Irrfan, Gopal Das, 25, Nure Alam, Zakir Hossain, 48, Biswajit Dey, 52, Nijhum, 19, Saiful, 25, Shamina, 45, Abdul Karim, 60 and Hasan, 22 are among the detainees.
Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kamrul Islam confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
