Housewife found dead in lover’s house in Narayanganj
Police recovered a woman’s body from a house at Dapa Indrakpur area under Fatullah town of the district.
22-year-old Rujina Akther was found dead at her lover’s house on Tuesday noon (February 26).
Rujina, wife of Nirob Miah, was from Konda area of Keraniganj district.
Rujina eloped with her lover, who goes by the name Sanjoy, leaving behind her two daughters and husband two months ago, Shah Mohammad Manjur, officer-in-charge of Fatullah Model Police Station, told Banglanews quoting relatives of the deceased.
They started living at a rented house at Dapa Indrakpur area. On information, police fetched the body and sent it to general hospital of the town for autopsy, OC added.
Marks of injury were visible on her neck. Autopsy will determine cause of death, OC also added.
Sanjoy is on the run. Police are trying to identify him and locate his home address, OC further added.
