Victory Moment Hockey starts Dec 19
The five-team Walton Victory Day Hockey will kick-away at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium from December 19. Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) known as the satisfy after Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to celebrate his birth centenary.
The five teams are: Defending Champions Bangladesh Navy, runners-up Sonali Bank Sporting activities and Recreation Golf club, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Air Force and Bangladesh Police. Top two clubs of the league basis competition will play last at the same venue on December 26.
BHF Executive Committee member and tournament committee secretary Badrul Islam Dipu disclosed the facts in a press conference held at the BHF premises on Monday.
“We possess told all of the participating teams to endure COVID-19 tests prior to the competition. Besides, we will take all possible health actions at the stadium during the matches. We are preparing to award the champions and runners-up clubs with prize money,” stated Dipu.
BHF Vice-president and Tournament Committee Chairman Zaki Ahmed Ripon, sponsors Walton Group Executive Director (Video games and Athletics) FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn and various other BHF members were as well present there.
