Over 100 BNP leaders, activists join AL
More than 100 local BNP leaders and activists joined Awami League in Chatkhil upazila of Noakhali district on Wednesday evening.
District AL Vice President and incumbent MP H M Ibrahim welcomed them with flowers.
Upazila BNP former joint secretary Nasir Uddin Bakshi, Patkor union BNP former general secretary, former chairman Shah Newaz Bakshi, were among the joined leaders and activists.
H M Ibrahim said Awami League practices the politics of development and progress. Everybody should work from his/her respective position to continue the development, he added.
