Babul joins BNP for depriving to get JaPa nominaton
Rokon Uddin Babul, Jatiya Party central committee joint secretary of Social Welfare, have joined BNP for the second time as he did not get nomination from Lalmonirhat-2.
Central BNP organising secretary Asadul Habib welcomed Dulu by giving him flower at BNP chierperson's office on Tuesday morning.
Central BNP member Barrister Hasan Rajib Prodhan, Rangpur district unit BNP president Emdadul Haque Bhorosha and Rangpur Metropolitan unit BNP president Saiful Islam among others, were present.
Different political sources said last year, Babul was deprived to get nomination in the post of Kaliganj upazila parishad chairman as BNP organising secretary. BNP central committee removed him from the party when he took part in the election as rebel aspirant of BNP.
At last, he joined Jatiya Party leaving BNP.
On November 25, incumbent lawmaker Nuruzzaman Ahmed, state-minister for Social Welfare, got Awami league ticket from Lalmonirhat-2 for the upcoming election but Babul failed to get nomination as JaPa candidate.
