HC summons Department of Environment's DG
Director General (DG) of Department of Environment has been asked to appear before the High Court on February 2 to explain about Dhaka's air quality and manpower.
An HC bench of FRM Nazmul Ahasan and Justice KM Kamrul Quader passed the order on Monday.
Adv Manjil Morshed stood for the petitioner while deputy attorney general Abdullah Al Mahmud Basher represent the state.
A writ was filed on behalf of Human Rights and Peace for Bangladesh (HRPB) on January 21, 2019, adding a report on Dhaka's air pollution published in media.
