Latif Siddiqui's bail stayed
The Appellate Division on Monday stayed the High Court order that granted six months' bail to former Textiles and Jute Minister Abdul Latif Siddique in a graft case.
The Appellate Division, led by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, passed the order.
Earlier on Thursday, the ACC's lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan filed the appeal.
On November 4, the HC granted six months' bail to the former minister in a graft case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
ACC Bogura Integrated office assistant director Md Aminul Islam filed the case on October 17, 2017, against two, including Latif Siddique, for illegally selling government property incurring a loss of Tk 40.69 lakh.
