Gazipur bus-covered van collision kills 2
Two people were killed as a bus hit a covered van from behind on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Rajendrapur area in Gazipur on Saturday (Feb 15) morning.
The identities of the deceased cannot be known immediately.
Parimal Biswas, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Gazipur Metropolitan Police Station, told Banglanews that the bus of Ena Paribahan hit the covered van from behind around 10:45 am, leaving two passengers of the bus dead at that moment.
Police recovered the bodies and cleared the street, the OC added.
