‘Drug trader’ killed found in Savar ‘gunfight’
A suspected medication trader was killed in a reported gunfight with the members of Fast Actions Battalion (RAB) in Savar, on the outskirts of the administrative centre, on Monday morning.

Deceased Raihan Sarkar, 35, hailed from North Matlab Police Station region of Chandpur district. He was an accused in several drug conditions filed with different law enforcement station, said RAB.

RAB options said on facts that Raihan was residing at a single Mosharraf Hossain’s house at Ashulia’s Kabirpur area, a good team of elite pressure raided the home this morning.

Sensing the occurrence of the induce, Raihan opened fire about RAB members, forcing all of them to fire back in self-defence. 

Raihan was caught in the type of fire and died on the spot.

RAB-2 police super Mohiuddin Faruqi said the body was sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue.

Two members of RAB likewise received injury during the encounter.
