Children among 7 killed in Cumilla road crash
Seven people, including two children, were killed as a bus rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Lalmai upazila of Cumilla district on Sunday.
Identities of the deceased could not been known yet. All the victims were auto-rickshaw passengers.
Of the dead, three are males, two females and two children.
Lalmai Highway Police outpost in-charge Ziaul Islam confirmed the matter.
Police and witnesses said a bus of 'Tisha Paribahan' smashed the three-wheeler in Jamtali area near Bagmara Bazar around 12:15pm, leaving five killed on the spot and leaving the children critically injured.
They were declared dead at a local hospital.
