3 killed as bus rams van
Three people were killed when a bus rammed into a van on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Dhamrai upazila of Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Fakir, 55, Samad Babu, 58, and Abdur Zabbar, 40, residents of Dhaira village under Nannar union in the upazila.
Quoting locals, Dhamrai Police Station OC Deepak Chandra Saha said, a bus rammed into a van from behind at Sutipara area, leaving its two passengers dead on the spot and the van puller critically injured.
Later, the van puller died on way to hospital.
Police are trying to seized the killer bus.
