2 killed in Ctg truck-auto rickshaw collision
Two persons were killed and two others injured as a truck collided head-on with a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw on Chattogram-Cox's Bazar Highway in Patiya upazila early Thursday (July 4).
The accident happened around 12am, in Monsar Tek area.
The deceased were identified as Ali Bahadur, 58 and Dayal Shil, 40, residents of Char Kanai area of Patiya.
Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Alauddin Talukder told Banglanews that four persons who sustained injuries in the collision between a betel leaf laden truck and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw were taken to CMCH.
Two of them were pronounced dead by the physician at the hospital, he added.
