Sohel Taj’s missing nephew rescued
Police rescued the nephew of former state minister for home affairs Tanjim Ahmad Sohel Taj from Mymensingh early Thursday, 11 days after he had gone missing.
Police said miscreants dumped Syed Iftekhar Alam Shourav, 25, in front of Jamil Auto Rice Mill at Bottola Bazar in Tarakanda upazila of the district around 5.00am.
Being informed, police went to the spot and rescued Shourav, said Tarakanda Police Station officer in-charge Mizanur Rahman, adding that he is now in good health.
Shourav is a resident of Sunnia Madrassa area under Panchlaish Police Station of Chattogram city.
Earlier on June 9, Sourav went missing from Panchlaish area of the port city.
