Saudi man found dead in Mymensingh
A national of Saudi Arabia was found dead at his friend’s house at Douhakhala village in Gouripur upazila on Thursday (Feb 7) night.
The deceased was identified as Abu Naser, 55, son of Faleh and resident of Dammam in Saudi Arabia, according to his passport.
Police, however, arrested Sunny, friend of the deceased, in this connection.
Being informed from a village doctor who was called by Sunny’s family members for treatment of Naser after he fell sick at night, police recovered the body of the Saudi national.
Later, the body was sent to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital morgue. After getting consent of Saudi Embassy, an autopsy will be done, said Sakher Hossain Siddiqui, Additional Superintendent of Police (Gauripur Circle).
Abu Naser had been visiting Sunny’s home for last 4/5 years. The duo used to gossip at the house. He might have died after taking excessive alcohol, the Additional SP added.
