5 Bangladeshis killed in Saudi Road crash
Five Bangladeshis were killed and 11 others injured in a road accident in port city Jeddah of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday (July 4).
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The incident took place around 7:00am while the Bangladeshis were heading to workplace from home by a bus. The driver lost control of the vehicle and drove it off-road when a tyre burst, said a source from Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh.
Jeddah consulate acting consul general (Counselor, Labor wing) Md Aminul Islam said consulate officials went to Saudi Traffic department on information of the crash.
