Chattogram City Corporation is going to pay tribute to late rock legend Ayub Bachchu by decorating the busy Prabartak square and naming it after the legend.

After Ayub Bachch's death on October 18, Ctg mayor AJM Nasir Uddin made the promise of dedicating a square to Ayub Bachchu and erecting a statue of a guitar paying tribute to the guitar master AB.

'The project is under way now. We are going to build a big and eye-catching guitar statue at the square to be named after Ayub Bachchu, a pride of Chattogram,' said M Giasuddin, councilor of the area.
