Rain, hailstorm likely over country
Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecasts rain/thunder showers throughout the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am on Sunday.
Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, at one or two places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places, said a Met office bulletin, UNB reports.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalgonj,Noakhali, Rajshahi & Pabna and it may abate at some places.
Day temperature may fall slightly while night temperature may fall by (1-2)°C over the country, it said.
