Traffic police ASI killed in road accident
A traffic police assistant sub-inspector was killed in a road accident in Dhaka's Jatrabari area early Saturday.
Deceased Khairul, 30, was the ASI at Demra Traffic Zone.
Demra Traffic Zone sergeant Firoz said a bus ran over him in front of Jatrabari Police Station around 2am when he was on duty, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
The body was kept at hospital morgue.
