BNP will need to bear Papul’s responsibility: Hanif
Awami League (AL) joint general secretary Mahabub-ul-Alam Hanif, MP, said on Saturday BNP must bear the duty of Papul seeing as the allegations of corruption, including earning of money, against Papul were through the BNP regime.
“Papul is not an associate of the ruling party but an unbiased lawmaker. And the allegations of corruption, including generating of money, had been raised against Papul were occurred through the BNP’s tenure,” he explained.
“If there is any allegation against him (Papul), BNP need to bear the duty,” he said these while responding to a question of newsmen at his Kushtia residence on PTI Road in the afternoon.
Replying to some other query, he said, “There is not any corruption in the Padma Bridge and it turned out proved by an international court. That is a fictitious allegation of BNP.”
It turned out proved that BNP was behind this fictitious allegation asthey (BNP) were discussing it.
About the ongoing elections, he said that BNP took part in the elections to help make the election commission system controversial in a well planned way.
Hanif also said during the voting it really is seen that neither they have polling agents nor voters.
“And it is natural that the administration might play a neutral role while maintain law and order during the polls. If the BNP terrorists carry out sabotage acts in the name of voting, regulations enforcement agencies will take action,” he added.
