BNP Secretary Basic Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Monday said the Election Commission (EC) should resign now shouldering the duty for "corruption, incompetence and failures".

“The eminent intellectuals of the united states feel that the Election Commission is becoming corrupt. In addition they think this Commission is normally incompetent and failed one. So, they should stage down right away,” he said.
