BNP positioning demo at Press club protesting repeal of Zia's gallantry title
Bangladesh Nationalist Get together (BNP) is staging demonstration in front of Jatiya Press Club found in the capital protesting the repeal of former President Ziaur Rahman's gallantry title by Jatiya Muktijuddha Council (JAMUKA).
A large number of the party guys took part in the protest movements that began from Thursday morning, creating huge traffic congestion in the region.
BNP standing committee customers Mirza Abbas and Gayeshwar Chandra Roy are present among the different leaders and activists.
They alleged that a conspiracy to remove the brand of their head Ziaur Rahman has been made. The federal government has sent different BNP men including its performing chairman Tarique Rahman to jail.
