Bashundhara's corona hospital gets directors
To use the country’s greatest hospital for coronavirus patients at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), one director and two deputy directors have already been appointed.
The makeshift hospital is fully ready to provide health services for Covid-19 patients and can start its activities from May 4 according to schedule.
ICCB Chief Operating Officer MM Jasim Uddin in a regular briefing on Friday told media that the launching of the isolation centre for Covid-19 patients at International Convention Centre, Bashundhara (ICCB) will be held in due time.
Jasim Uddin also hoped that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina more likely to inaugurate the hospital.
He said: “We hope Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the hospital through videoconference.”
Bashundhara Group, the country’s major business conglomerate, has come forward to determine the makeshift hospital for treating coronavirus patients.
The ICCB will be utilized as hospital for the moment and it will go back to its previous shape after the crisis is over.
The officials of medical Engineering Department of the federal government and Bashundhara Group have been working ceaselessly to materialise the dream project.
