Bashundhara Group donates Tk 69 lakh for establishing PCR lab in Rangamati
The persons of Rangamati is going to get a PCR (Polymeric Chain Re-Action) laboratory to conduct Covid-19 tests as country’s top rated business conglomerate Bashundhara Group (BG) has extended its support to create the essential machine.
To set up the laboratory, the Bashundhara Group has donated a cheque for Tk 69 lakh to the local administration as coronavirus situations are increasing daily across the country.
Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) Executive Chairman Paban Chowdhury paid the money with respect to Bashundhara Group to Rangamati Civil Surgeon Dr Bipash Khisa found on Friday morning.
Paban Chowdhury, who is also assigned by the federal government to supervise and coordinate the pain relief distribution programme and well being management work on the district, provided the amount of money in occurrence of deputy commissioner of Rangamti AKM Mamunur Rashid, superintendent of police Md Alamgir Kabir and additional bigger officials of the federal government.
After receiving the amount of money, the civil surgeon appreciated Bashundhara Group for extending its helping hand to create the much-awaited PCR lab.
DC Mamunur Rashid also expressed his gratitude to Bashundhara Group and secretary Paban Chowdhury with respect to the persons of Rangamati.
