Awami League's Younus Ali wins in Gaibandha-3 polls
Awami League nominated candidate Younus Ali Sarker has been elected in the Jatiya Sangsad elections of Gaibandha-3 (Sadullahpur-Palashbari) seat by defeating his nearest candidate Dilara Khandoker, reports BSS.
Younus Ali Sarker bagged 1,21,163 votes and his nearest rival Jatiya Party (Ershad) candidate Dilara Khandoker got 24,385 votes.
Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Gaibandha Md Abdul Matin declared the result on Sunday night.
