Aedes larvae found in 258 DNCC houses
Aedes mosquito larvae were found in as many as 258 houses in 36 wards of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC).
Besides, favorable environment to breed the dengue virus carrier mosquito was confirmed in 3,123 houses, said DNCC officials.
The breeding grounds of Aedes mosquito were destroyed in the house, on the first day of the special cleanliness drive on Sunday (August 25).
Wards councillors and regional executive officers took part in the drive.
However, DNCC will continue the drive as part of preventing dengue epidemic.
