AB Bank asks above 100 employees to resign
AB Lender has asked more than 100 of its personnel to resign within its work to restructure operations.

The control of the first-generation bank said unqualified and corrupt officials have been asked to leave.

Two officials, who are set to lose jobs, said the majority of the officials who actually were facing the downsizing were nowadays at the last stretch of their careers.

So, the job-chop provides dealt a large blow to them because they don't know getting on found in the days ahead and right now there is little scope to control a new job as a result of ongoing financial fallout, they said.

Numerous employees were asked to resign by yesterday and a termination letter of the employees has been received by The Daily Star.

"The operations has asked 70-80 employees to resign because of their incapacity to do the work keeping up with enough time," explained Tarique Afzal, managing director of AB Lender.

The job-cut is a normal process and it has no relation with the bank's austerity measures, he said.

The employees who've been found to be engaged in corruption were also asked to go, he said.

The lender had earlier faced several crises, including scams and fraudulent activities nonetheless it has turned around from the loss-making situation, Afzal said, adding that the most recent effort would help the bank's functions shine out.

The employees facing the termination are certain to get their service benefit from the lender.
