Another body recovered: Vessel towed to river bank
Fire Program divers retrieved a body from the River Buriganga on Tuesday afternoon, raising the death toll from Monday's release capsize to 33.

Your body was recovered around 12:45pm, confirmed the Fire Service and Civil Defence Director Basic Brig Gen Sajjad Hossain.

Rescue operation resumed in 10am on Tuesday following the recovery of 32 bodies on Monday following capsize of 'Morning Bird' in the Buriganga River near Shyambazar.

Meanwhile, the sunken start was towed to the lender from the mid river.

BIWTA ship 'Duronto' towed the vessel that switched upside down  around 12 noon as the rescue vessel with crane could not come, explained BIWTA Chairman Comodore Golam Sadik.

Divers are now conducting search operation inside launch.

Munshiganj-bound release 'Morning Bird' with above 100 passengers up to speed capsized on the river Buriganga at Sadarghat after being strike by another vessel 'Moyur-2' around 9:33am on Monday.
