MP Papul removed from NRBC Bank's plank of directors
Kazi Shahidul Islam Paplu MP, who was simply detained in Kuwait on costs of  individual trafficking and funds laundering, has been taken off NRB Commercial Bank Ltd's plank of directors.

The bank's chairman Tomal Parvez confirmed the problem on Monday.

He said your choice has been taken in the last assembly of the table of directors.

On June 25, Laxmipur-2 lawmaker Papul delivered to jail in Kuwait on costs of individual trafficking and funds laundering.
 
Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Kuwait arrested the lawmaker on an allegation of his involvement on human trafficking in June 7.

Following arrest,  Kuwait government froze his bank-account. Shahid holds about five million Kuwaiti dinars, or Tk 1.38 billion, in those accounts.
